Awn rimz and has aftermarket exhaust. Not sure if the owner has the OEM parts on-hand, but I was a man and I contacted him/her. Other than that, the ad is very clear, some good pictures, and it’s a ‘98.

Not sure what my insurance would make of a young male adult with a modified Lexus, but it can’t be that good.

I’ll still have to take a look at this one though. It’s been on the ‘list for a while now.

I can’t imagine the insurance rates for these are that bad, consider it’s a Lexus. If anything, you’ll have to tell your agent that you’re young, healthy, with no pacemaker. Maybe you'll get a discount.

Holy mileage batman! Surely there is a better car you can find for the money. I would not spend my hard earn dollars on a car with a 1/4 million miles on it unless it was sub $1000 bucks.

To be fair, it is an early Lexus with a 1UZ-FE. I can’t imagine these would be that unreliable at high mileages.

Eh, I can live without a manual.

The 1UZ was used in the LS400 as well. Matt Farah has one with almost 1 million miles.

Yeah but when you compare to the other stuff you can get for the same money it’s absolutely ridiculous.

For example locally there is this 2009 P71 with 75,000 miles for $4,900 CAD!!! 21 years newer with 1/3rd the mileage of the lexus.

Kinja'd!!!

I’m not saying buy a P71 I’m not one of those Panther fanboys I’m just saying be smart with your money and maybe sacrifice a little bit of style for an overall WAY better car that will last much longer.

Surely you can find a great car that will last you a while with under 120,000 miles in that price range.

Yes, but for that kind of money, you could get one that doesn’t have that many miles. And it's less about the engine reliability and more about the wear on everything else. You could easily end up having to put several thousand more into it in repairs.

As of right now, it’s the cleanest one on Craigslist that isn’t being sold by a moron who doesn’t know how to write a Craigslist ad.

fukken y. The 6/stick is as quick to 60mph as the V8/autotragic.

I wouldn’t want a manual in Seattle traffic.

I like those black wheels. They allow the eye pay more attention to the car’s lovely profile.

But they might also be cheap if they’re not OEM.
